Rained Out Show in Tompkins Square Park Ends Up in C-Squat

NYC's 2nd annual Bike Noise(Bike Noise II) was supposed to be held in Tompkins Square yesterday May 3rd but was rained out. Moved from the park to C-Squat featuring bands like Public Serpents, Wombat in Combat, Mischief "O" Brew, Ja Moustache Eddies, Social Standards and Team Spider. The bands played from about 6 to 9pm and the party raged out for hours longer. Moving its way up into a couple upstairs apartments and still going on in the basement with some street kids aka crusties also looking for a place to sneak under to crash for the night. Hiding under the stage of all places and using their dogs as pillow. Up in Bill Cashman's room the beer drinking ended up leading to a impromptu game of spin the bottle. Everyone acting like junior high school and elementary school kids maybe remembering back to those sweet days of old. As you can see Mr. Bill Cashman was pretty busy getting a little from everyone. Thanks to Public Serpents I got some pictures of them playing.

Techno Show in Tompkins Square Park Turns Into Punk Rock And Roll
First show in Tompkins Square happened today May 2nd from 3 to 6PM. The day after Mayday and a day before the actual Mayday Show which is on May 3rd. Bands like D60, Pig Shit Engine and a band from Pennsylvania called Ray Grady. It was supposed to be a techno show but the DJ didn't show up or some thing. No riot or anything interesting really happen but all in all it was a good show. Of course the police were there with their decible meters making sure it wasn't to loud. And making some crusty kids leave the park for open containers of King Cobra. Jewels was nowhere to be seen but I heard later from Slum Goddess that him and his wife Amy had left town. G was dancing around having fun looking beat up as usual. No big drama just an otherwise fun show.

Leap Frog Lady Returns to Avenue C
Here is a little more leap frog lady for you. I went out saw her again walked around the block twice with the dog. She was still inbetween 8th and 9th street on Avenue C. Then I went and had a coffee at 9th Street Espresso and she was still moving her many milk crates, bags and shopping carts full of stuff between those two blocks. I got some pictures when and had a cigarette and talked to some crustie kids and then went back and she still wasn't done yet. So I went over to talk to her to she how she does it and maybe get some infomation but she didn't like me or that. She gave a low grunt or maybe a growl and went on her way. Then I said goodbye to the leap frog lady. Maybe I will see her again. This time she look like she had even more. Next time who knows her stuff train might be 2, 3 or even 4 blocks long.
